Possiedo già il vecchio Kindle eppure sto sgolosando per quello nuovo…

Ormai ho letto decine di eBook, sia in versione epub nel formato Amazon che in pdf; comodamente sdraiato sul divano, senza mai stancarmi gli occhi o affaticare le braccia, memorizzando appunti, segnalibri e scaricando innumerevoli sample.

Per me non c’è storia: l’inchiostro elettronico del Kindle (ma anche degli e-Reader in generale) è un’esperienza di lettura di gran lunga migliore rispetto all’iPad della Apple o a qualunque altro schermo retroilluminato. Quest’ultimo è sicuramente più adatto a eBook tecnici, giornali e riviste…

Perché ordinerò il nuovo Kindle allora?

Tra i tanti motivi, questi:

1. Il contrasto migliorato del 50%
2. Il peso diminuito del 15%
3. La batteria che ora offline dura fino ad un mese!

Io sto seriamente pensando di passare alla versione WI-FI da 109 Sterline (circa 128 Euro): non ho tutta questa esigenza di scaricare gli ebook ovunque io mi trovi.

Kindle senza Dogana

Visto che è in vendita anche presso Amazon UK non ho neanche più la scusa della dogana….

Ok, I love my Kindle. Nice usability and huge availability of books and info-products that, IMHO, is the real Amazon added value. I currently have KINDLOADED a few books, since I am finishing out the backlog of smelly and space killing paper books.

Ok, I love my Kindle.
Nice usability and huge availability of books and info-products that, IMHO, is the real Amazon added value.
I currently have KINDLOADED a few books, since I am finishing out the backlog of smelly and space killing paper books.

Possible improvements? Please dear guys at Amazon, find below some suggestions (possibly they are already in place, or already in your plans)…

Allow my poor wife to send me an eBook as a present and to have it downloaded directly on my Kindle with some sort of nice messaging.

ScreenSaver

Allow me to decide if I really want to have the faces of some already dead and quite pale authors as a screensaver, since I would rather opt for the front cover of the last eBook I’m reading…
